Obituary

Milton Musland 97, Edgeley, ND died at Jamestown Hospital on Sunday, August 7, 2005.
Milton LeRoy Musland was born May 26, 1908 at Berlin, ND the son of Ingwald and Bertha (Holen) Musland. He attended Medbury Township school near Berlin and Grand Rapids, ND schools. Following his education, Milton worked on his parents farm. He married Frances Zinter at LaMoure, ND on June 11, 1940. They settled on the farm Milton had purchased in 1938 where they spent their 65 years of married life. He enjoyed spending the last 20 winters in Mesa, Arizona with Frances. Milton was on many boards-of-directors including the Farmers Union Oil, Farmers Union Grain, Farmers Union Co-op Boards, Rogate Church Board and the Edgeley School Board. He was also a 4H leader, on the FHA board and on the LaMoure County Animal Health Board. Milton was part of a champion Farmers Livestock Judging Team from the ND Winter Show.
Survivors include his wife; 1 daughter, Evelyn (Lyle) Sjostrom, Jamestown, ND; 3 sons, Richard, Edgeley, ND, LeRoy (Darlene), and Clarence (Mary), both Edgeley, ND; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. His parents and 3 brothers, Floyd, Melvin and Paul preceded him in death.
Milton was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Edgeley. He was very fond of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed square dancing which he did until he was over 90 years old. He also thoroughly enjoyed raising cattle.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2005 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Edgeley, ND.
Prayer Service: 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND.
Visitation: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND and 1 hour prior to services in the church on Friday.
Interment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.
