Babe Gossett

DeLoris “Babe” Gossett, 93, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Wednesday evening, October 6, 2021 at Edgewood, Jamestown.

Babe was born on October 3, 1928, in Pingree, ND, the daughter of Lennie and Cecil (Broderson) White.  She grew up in Pingree and attended Pingree High School.  Babe was united in marriage to Gene Gossett on December 15, 1950 in Jamestown.  She and Gene enjoyed going to the Elks, Eagles and Vets clubs.  Playing cards was a passion of Babe’s, along with bowling with her friends on various leagues.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Jamestown.  Gene passed away on March 20, 2015.

Babe is survived by her son, Jon (Anne) Gossett and their children Hunter, Autumn, Jebediah of Fargo and Matt Stanga of Colorado; daughter, Susan (Paul) Jensen and their son, Dustin (Mary) Jensen of Jamestown; great-granddaughters, Brynn and Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene; grandson, Casey; sisters, Lois, Ellen, Sharlene, and Bette; and brothers, Jack, Donald and Harold.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Jamestown Regional Medical Center Hospice, 2422 20th Street SW, Jamestown or Edgewood, 1104 25th Street, SW, Jamestown, ND.

Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2021 at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, with Deacon Tom Geffre officiating.
